This is the first project I undertook as part of my training in architectural visualisation and 3D design. During the course, I created the house and yard while following the learning material and was provided with some basic interior furniture. From there I was left to populate the scene however I saw fit. I decided that I wanted this composition in a lighting style similar to late afternoon / early evening to capture that relaxed summer vibe.
Once the 3D rendering was completed, I transferred the images into Photoshop and began tweaking different elements of the image to help reinforce the warm tones through the composition. At this point I also added the people and animals to the scene by finding an image that was visible on the same axis as the render and placing it into the scene, I then used various multi-layer techniques to emulate the light on the actor's skin to match the composition.
