OVERVIEW:
The BubbleJET® Catalogue for Greens Tapware Ltd was designed to introduce their innovative new shower technology, BubbleJET®, to the market. This compact catalogue aimed to communicate the unique features of BubbleJET® while creating a luxurious, tactile experience that mirrors the product’s spa-like benefits.
CHALLENGE:
The BubbleJET® product launch required a catalogue that could effectively convey the sensory and technical aspects of the new shower experience in a concise format. Additionally, the catalogue needed to align with the premium quality of BubbleJET® while fitting into a small form factor—about half the size of an A4 sheet—without sacrificing durability or visual impact. With limited photography available, I created all the imagery in 3D, ensuring that each visual conveyed the detail and allure of BubbleJET® technology.
SOLUTION:
To achieve this, I selected a thick 250gsm page stock to lend the compact catalogue a sense of weight and quality, reinforcing the luxurious feel of the BubbleJET® experience. The cover was printed on matte paper, then treated with a velvet-soft touch laminate to provide a smooth, inviting texture. The title text on the cover was foil-stamped to add a subtle shimmer, capturing attention while enhancing the brand’s premium aesthetic.
DESIGN & PROCESS:
The interior layout was designed with simplicity and clarity in mind, highlighting the technical process behind BubbleJET®’s aerated, bubble-like water flow. All product imagery was rendered in 3D, providing consistency and a photorealistic representation of the BubbleJET® experience in styled environments. Key information was paired with clean, modern visuals and minimalistic typography, creating an intuitive, elegant reader experience. The compact size made each page impactful, with the layout maximizing space to feature product details, benefits, and close-up imagery that emphasizes the soft, luxurious spray.
OUTCOME:
The BubbleJET® catalogue, produced in both New Zealand and Australian versions, has made a memorable impression by pairing sensory-rich visuals with tactile finishes that echo the spa-like qualities of BubbleJET® technology. The compact, weighted design has become a standout piece for Greens Tapware, presenting an elevated experience that communicates the essence of relaxation and innovation in every detail. Both versions effectively resonate with their regional audiences, enhancing brand engagement and conveying the premium, therapeutic qualities of BubbleJET® to customers across both markets.
